Wrinkle Injections - Process

The injection of filling substances is usually performed as an out-patient procedure. Because of the almost pain-free nature of the procedure, anaesthesia is not necessary.
After any necessary markings have been made on the appropriate skin locations, the doctor injects the substance under the wrinkles using a thin needle. After the completion of treatment, the affected skin region is cooled. The entire procedure lasts 15-30 minutes.
If you have decided to undergo wrinkle correction via autologous fat injection, this will be removed from another inconspicuous place on your body (e.g. inside of the knee, navel region, or posterior crease) in advance under local anaesthesia. After the corresponding preparation of the fat, it is injected using a syringe. The fat is typically incorporated by the body quickly and without incident; allergic reactions should not be expected.
